Close Up Magic
The Raven

The Raven has been called one of the best tricks of the last decade! Perform visual vanishes like you've never seen. Make coins appear, disappear, shrink or change to a different coin or an entirely different object! There are no funny moves or sleights. Simply show your hands front and back, then wave one over the other and a coin appears or vanishes! It is that easy and natural (and amazing)! Many additional effects with bills, matchbooks, playing cards and a variety of coin effects, as well as the valuable 'Empty Hand Move,' are taught on the video. Perform in a coat, even a short sleeved shirt.

Pen Penetration
This is a great trick to pull off anywhere. A ball point pen penetrates just about anything - dollar bills, pieces of paper, etc. Push the pen through an item then give the item back to the spectator with no holes to be found! A fabulous seemingly impromptu trick with a pen that really writes. No switches! Only one pen used. Complete routine included.

Fire To Silk
A flame appears at the magician's finger tips. Suddenly, the fire goes out, and a 24" silk appears in it's place. This effect is an excellent way to produces silks or other similar items for another routine in your act! Another great effect form Michael P.Lair.

Match To Rose
A great way to open an act. The magician lights a match. Upon blowing it out, the match turns visibly into a beautiful rose! The flower can now be placed in the magician's lapel.

Flower From Finger

This is a simple yet great effect. Show that your hands empty to the audience, then produce a flower from thin air! Pull flowers out of your hat, box, etc. You can do many variations of this trick. It's easy to perform and a great show starter!

Fire Trap!
As performed by Doug Henning on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson! The impossible journey of a MARKED coin into the inner realm of a matchbook cover or business card. At your request, a borrowed quarter in marked for identification. The coin is then wrapped in a small piece of paper and then set a blaze. Handing the book of matches to the spectator. The paper is burned and the coin is gone! Where is it? It's inside the matchbook! Not just inside but in the lining of the matchbook cover!. This is a very cool trick with fire!
